The Girl Behind the Camera

Hi, my name is Olivia Duckett! I have been photographing for a year now, though this photography journey started a while ago for me. Growing up I have always had a passion for making and sharing memories by taking photos. I got my first camera when I was a sophomore in high school. It was a great starter camera and I fell in love with the process of taking pictures and then editing them. To me it's a special kind of art and my creative outlet. I've never felt creative in anyway until I got behind a camera. Now I love the entire process of photography. From freezing your memories in time, to delivering them to hang onto forever. Photos are one of the things we always have to look back on, and it's a great way to see how our lives change in all the amazing ways as well. From graduating, to getting married, to having a baby, there's something so special about having pictures of those memories you get to hold onto forever. For this reason, I like to aim for creating and editing photos that are timeless. Styles throughout the years are always changing, so I want to make something that will never go out of style and can remain hanging on your walls for years to come. I love the classic, timeless, true-to color style. It just never ages and can be kept as memories forever.
